Control one of the many units from the original game, and defeat your enemies in an epic base-oriented combat environment built on the beautiful Unreal Engine 4. You can view our page here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/tiberian-dawn-the-first-strike Logo Designer We are looking for individuals who are capable of creating logos for our game, our company, and our website. 3D Artist, Unwrapper We are looking for individuals who are capable of creating 3D models and/or preparing 3D models for texturing and/or animation. Programmer We are looking for individuals who can help create the backbone of our game. The game is going to be on Unreal Engine 4 so experience with C++ is required. Texture Artist We are looking for someone who can texture models that have been unwrapped and/or unwrap them if they are not already. Concept Artist We are looking for individuals who can take references from the original Command & Conquer and make them into concepts that can be more easily used by our 3D artists. Please keep in mind that we are not accepting freelance applications. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your overall skill and expand your portfolio for use in future applications. You will be appropriately credited for any of your works that we use. If your application is accepted then you will be given all the time that you deem necessary to complete your project, but a weekly check in is required unless an acceptable reason is given. Chimas 7 Posted January 29, 2015 Honestly, I dislike the idea of FPS applied to Tiberian Dawn. Not even the idea, but gathering so many man power to make just another FPS and over a game that is in essence the foundation of RTS (although this is just my opinion). The only thing I can think of in favour of your project is that you could try to make it in a way that the engine can import/convert the old BIN files (maps), because there are plenty interesting missions out there. And if possible the script too. I mean you can have basic tiles that will help importation and advanced tiles to put in-game new assets. I was going to mention about to make it hybrid (RTS + FPS) but, not only it's a complex task, it's possible that a remastering of TD with 3D units are on the way, so watch out on spending so many time and ppl in a project that can be override faster and better. I'm not saying this is a fact or a trend, I'm just saying that remasterings are a trend and I've been thru this with Homeworld modding, remastering HW1 to HW2 engine when Gearbox showed up and acquired the IP. Their result will be out in February. Anyway, still, I respect your proposal and wish you good luck in the project, whatever it will be or become. Share this post Link to post

Well one of our ideas for a game mode is a RTS/FPS hybrid, in addition to the usual C&C mode. I would love to be able to import the maps, I honestly didn't know it was possible. We were going to just make maps based off of what the original maps looked like. I'll have to check out this Homeworld mod you speak of, it sounds like a cool idea. Thanks for the support!
