New China's OS vs the world

Recommended Posts

Move over Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and Chrome. China's got their own new OS to the competition.

For quite some time and after the Snowden incident, China knew they decided to take action and not use Microsoft Windows in their PCs/Tablets/Smartphones for the future. Why? The one thing they hate (even I do too)...... hidden Microsoft spyware, the spyware (that tracks your records of anything) hidden in all recent Windows OSs except Windows XP and lower versions. With China's pro experience in hacking, using their own OS could change PC computing and the Internet forever.

But so far in 2015, things are quiet in the China's tech industry with barely any recent news of their new OS.

What's your opinion on this?

My opinions are:

1. Your ability to connect two points so completely unrelated to one another would be a topic of interest to quantum theoreticians.

2. China hasn't come up with something original since gunpowder, and that was a mistake intended to be the elixir of life.

I can't speak Mandarin or Cantonese, so meh. :P

Seriously though Windows isn't going anywhere any time soon, even after they keep ****ing it up. :P
