Sonic 292 Posted July 20, 2015 It looks like Electronic Arts are making changes to your Origin account. If you have purchased games from Origin in the past you will have an Origin account. This will soon change as your Origin account becomes an "EA Account". In an email being sent to Origin account holders, EA said this is "to better represent all of EA's games and services". No other features or reasons were given. The change will happen automatically "in the coming weeks", EA said. Members will use the same login ID and password to access the account. Plok 319 Posted July 20, 2015 So they first incorporated regular EA Accounts to the Origin system and renamed them Origin accounts (Pogo and a messy collection of older game data excluded), and now they're renaming them back to EA Accounts? Seriously, these guys need a life. And it's also a tad unfair to Origin games that aren't made by EA, now their FAQs will have to read the distributor's name, not the name of a service Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 289 Posted July 20, 2015 Hmm... I didn't get an email yet. On the other hand, I have technically never purchased anything from Origin in the past. Half of my games are from the Ultimate Collection which I got for free, and the other half were On The House. Share this post Link to post
