So i really liked the original DooM and played it tons at school back in the days. Was really fun.

First thing i thought when i saw an advertisement about it was to get it sometime but, i'm not gonna pay fkn 60 euro for a game lol.

I'll wait a few years :D

Well the technical problem with this latest Doom game is that the game is a reboot. I will not play a rebooted game, but rather than playing a remake is better than playing a reboot.

If that happens, every other game series could possibly get a reboot too such as C&C, COD, Half-Life, UT and Deus Ex, and I don't want to hear that. Even some movie series are getting a reboot as well. But I think that rebooting a game series is pointless and simply ridiculous unless there are something in the middle of that game series that have yet to be covered.

Even the past articles about scrapping Doom 4 was a huge mistake and a bold risky decision:

and

When the reboot of Doom comes out, it'll remind me of Duke Nukem Forever all over again.

How is that a technical problem Zocom7?

Of all the things that could potentially be disappointing about the new Doom title, you focus entirely on it being a "reboot", like the game play and everything that comes with it is inherently bad as a result of that.

Yes, everything could potentially get a reboot. What has ever stood in the way of that?

Why is that necessarily a bad thing?

They scrapped a version they had worked on because it had too much competition as a result of being too much like other shooters. Such a huge decision is always risky. Many years of work go into such projects.

If anything, you can probably expect it to be better than it would have been otherwise, given the iterations.

Duke Nukem Forever might have been a disaster, but how does that have anything to do with the new Doom title?

I rather plays Classic Doom instead(Doom 1, Doom 2, TNT Evilution, and Plutonia Experiment)
