Some new gameplay footage of the Red Alert 2 mod for OpenRA has been posted. It is still a work in progress, the video is from a development version. There are still many missing and unimplemented features but what is demonstrated looks very impressive. Check it out in the video above.

I'm flabbergasted... it looks great. I realised while watching the whole thing - that I did not play enough of the original C&C and RA to notice the differences/similarities when playing OpenRA...

but OMG that is a a fantastic recreation.

 

Can't wait.
