Plok 319 Posted October 27, 2016 In this week's edition of Throwback Thursday, we look back at the strongest Allied naval unit... actually, the strongest naval unit in terms of firepower from the original Red Alert - the Cruiser. The cannons of this potent ship could decimate any unit or building with little effort, making it a viable artillery choice. The Soviets did not even have an equivalent for this unit until the Aftermath expansion pack, where they got the Missile Sub. However, the Cruiser was very slow and imprecise, and required a lot of micromanagement to properly aim at its target.Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Gben 20 Posted November 20, 2016 Never liked the missile sub, it was too similar in role and gameplay to the allies. I hate mirrors. For contrast, what I liked about RA2 was things like Kirovs v Rocketeers... Prism v Apoc etc. Share this post Link to post
