Going to GDC 2017! (What to tell EA or former C&C devs?)

Recommended Posts

Hey yall,

So I managed to get 2 free passes to GDC for me and my co-founder, for Tiberium secrets

I got business cards with our mod info printed out.

Lou castle will be there for sure, maybe some of the other old C&C Devs.

People from EA will definitely be there.

If you could say one thing to any of them about C&C, what would you want to say?

I don't mind passing on a CNCNZ/ C&C community Greeting.

Tell them to create a new strategy game that isn't based on exhausted (done-to-death) intellectual property. It's time for something fresh.

Agreeing with jeffNZ's point... but also I would like to add this, do not try out to make another C&C F2P game that either will be canned out or be a failure. Tell them that Generals 2 was being implemented in Unity engine by the Chinese devs and whether if the C&C series can be rebooted or not.

If C&C is to come back or get rebooted, do not develop with Frostbite Engine 3 and above since that engine is too difficult and almost impossible to get modded.

Good luck with them not using their flagship engine.
