How can I modify xml values in a mod ?

Recommended Posts

Hi. I recently downloaded and tried out the "Reloaded Mod". The mod is amazing, but there are many values that I'd like to modify (such as attack value, health value of a unit). The "Reloaded Mod" I downloaded has only .skudef files and .big files. And when I try to open the .big files with "C&C BIG Extractor", there are a bunch of .cdata files and other unrelated files. I cannot find any "editable" xml file. Is there a way that I can modify the values like I said earlier ? Thank you very much! :)

Which Reloaded mod? RA3 Reloaded?

You can view and copy xml coding via WrathEd 1.08 gamma with RA3 definitions.

However, changing only the values requires the whole source code of the mod to be recompiled.

Use the RA3 Mod SDK. You'll also need Bibber's extra RA3 tools from http://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-red-alert-3

For my RA3 Reloaded source code, it's still here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/red-alert-3-reloaded/downloads/ra3-reloaded-version-12-source-code
