Nmenth 290 Posted April 2, 2018 It is the first Monday of April, so it is time for another article from Nmenth's Research Lab. This month, we will explore the Tesla Coils of Command & Conquer and see how they compare with reality. A new technology will be explored in Nmenth's Research Lab on the first Monday of every month. Return next month on the 7th when I take a closer look at Railguns. 2 Share this post Link to post
TaxOwlbear 20 Posted April 2, 2018 Nicely done. I think like so many semi-fictional weapons (laser guns etc.), the Tesla Coil suffers from the fact that simply throwing a piece of metal at high velocity is more cost-effective. Unless there are significant advantages that justify the cost, humanity will probably stick with bullets and similar projectiles for now. Also, I'd love to read an article on the Tiberium universe walkers. Nitpick about the EMP article. "EMP Pulse " is overkill. Share this post Link to post
