You have to be a little less vague.

Need a few more details, like when you are saving tibed or zero hour.

First things first, are you using tibed beta 2 or alpha 13?

If alpha then I suggest you download beta 2

http://www.tibed.net/beta/tibed2beta2.exe

Have you updated generals and zero hour with the latest patches?

If not then that is another good place to start

http://www.eagames.com/official/cc/generals/us/demos.jsp

Download the one's you need for whatever part of the world you are in.

What are you trying to edit?

Give us a few details about what you are trying to edit and we can help you better.

P.S. I already replied to you other post.

Hmmm.... try to go the File menu, then preferences, and look for an option to turn compression OFF. Check and see if that stops the crashes.

nevermind i downloaded Alpha version and that works! I finished my "realism mod" and i exported it into a .big file. Now i have anotherquestion. HOw do i install the mod? I want to host it on cncden.com and i have to include instructions on how to install it. I tried putting it into the mod directory and it didnt work. BTW this is for generals

TibEd creates 'standard' BIG files. They can be used by letting the user put them somewhere on his machine, and then run the game using the mod switch:

Generals -mod "C:TestTheMod.big"

Will use the mod if its located in the "C:Test" folder.
