PurpleGaga27 39 Posted April 15, 2016 More lookalikes I found after watching two TV shows last night. David Lyons and Andrew Lincoln (must be the hair and a similar face) Also, Jay Hayden and Dean Cain: Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted April 18, 2016 Is this real or not? Everybody's Gone to The Rapture used the CryEngine for this realism. But I think this would look even more realistic if it's used with Unreal Engine 4. A pretty game, with little to no gameplay. Share this post Link to post

Gben 20 Posted May 13, 2016 . . . I forgot to congratulate NZ on their new flag! Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted May 14, 2016 The flag selection process was botched, so when it came time to choose, we had four, kinda poor options. When the question comes up again, hopefully they're learn from this experience. That being said, our flag is still better than your flag. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 289 Posted May 14, 2016 When the question comes up again If it comes up again. When this type of thing happens, people assume the result means that was what people wanted. Why should New Zealand vote for a new flag again when obviously they want to keep the old one? After all, that's what the people voted for. Share this post Link to post
Ravendark 46 Posted May 15, 2016 On behave of the modding community: The lay out of your NZ flag texture isn't optimized. You do not need to draw individual stars, just draw one and lay your unwraps of the other stars on top of each other. To deal with aliasing it is a good practice to avoid diagonal lines as well. Depending on your texture resolutions that could give some real ugly effects You could probably reduce it all to a white and red line on a blue canvas, with some creative vertices manipulation you could just make the star a red/white square although that might create some minor distortion, but you won't know that unless you apply that to your flagpole model! It's more a case of do you want to change to this flag, rather than do you want to change the flag at all. If they asked a referendum on whether to remove the union jack from the NZ flag, it would probably have been a resounding yes. Then once you're resigned to that change, it's easier to motivate the population to pick an alternative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo71-n3ogqQ ^ It was UK Comedian John Oliver talking about the issue. That was the intention, yes, but it doesn't matter. New Zealand isn't going to have a new vote where the flag committee actually picks good looking flags. The voting is over. New Zealanders are stuck with the old flag for many decades to come because the assumption is that they prefer it over something new. Every time there is a vote on something, the winner is assumed to have been chosen because they/it was worth choosing. Everyone knows what the truth is, but the assumption overrules and the truth is irrelevant. And now, a story: Scylla and Charybdis were running for mascot of the Strait of Messina. 30% of sailors loved Scylla, 30% of sailors loved Charybdis, and 40% of sailors thought they were both horrible monsters. Scylla was mascot last season and ate 180 sailors. The Scylla supporters don't care; Scylla can do no wrong. The Charybdis supporters talk about those deaths in loud voices and all firmly agree that Charybdis is better. Three-fifths of the independent sailors decided Scylla munched on them for long enough and sided with Charybdis who won the title of mascot of the Strait of Messina with 54% of the vote. Charybdis made the assumption that the majority of sailors approved of her appetite and swallowed 185 sailors that season. The Charybdis supporters don't care; Charybdis can do no wrong. This is how two-party political systems work, and 70% of the population always hates whoever is currently in charge, but because they got in with a majority vote, the assumption is that the majority approves of their views. Do not underestimate the power of this assumption everyone knows is wrong - it runs governments. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 39 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) I like the original NZ flag style better. Who cares which Aussie or NZ flag is better, since both of them shared the same UK flag design in the top left corner. The difference is that Australia has more province territories than NZ, signifying the number of stars. And that's my 3600th post. Edited May 16, 2016 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 39 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) How that you mention UberHumor : Beauty and the Rooster.... And this image as it said, not sure how to explain it. The possibility of Bernie Sanders to win against Hillary Clinton on June 7 is pretty slim, unless all voters vote for Bernie in a miracle comeback and gets all the remaining delegates to earn a presidential nomination. Some people thought the election voting is rigged. Edited June 3, 2016 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
