There will be fewer ground battles and more space battles, I don't want to be commanding them??? I want to be fighting them.

Wait for Battlefront II coming early next year, it will even be on PSP!!!! If you didnt already know youll be able to jump in TIE fighters and frag Rebel Scum in space and around the Death Star

Space is gay for battles. There is not cover no where to hide no nothing. Its just space. They're just stupid space battles. If you're ever played Homeworld you're know what I mean. Though that game was alright. Just the medium was boring..

 

So I guess the Navy is gay for battles, cause theres nowhere to hide (coward) and I suppose the airforce is gay too, cause well, theres no cover up there in the sky, and while we're at it, ground battles in C&C are gay, casue the only real way to hide is to run

 

Please, get real. You say space battles are gay because you were never good at them. So heres a challenge, take your battle fleet through a runnign light fight in and out of an asteriod belt, or through a nebula (which is akin to fighting in a sandstorm) or close up to a star, where eveything that gets damaged gets fried, or try and keep your distance from a blackhole while chasing down enemy ships.

Naval engaments are you can't take cover you can't run away and you can't hide. All you can do is float along and get blown up.

 

Air battles aren't the same but they're not very interesting. All you can do is fly around maybe go low to the ground fly around a city or something but same thing.

 

Sure there are some fun things to do in space, which you outlined quiet nicely. But in the end you're not going to be doing that all the time. Cause realistically you'd never take a fleet through an asteroid field as you'd get real messed up. Or anywhere near a black hole or a star or anything that is midly interesting. So why don't you get real!

Ok, the Alliance is going after the Maw installastion, wich is near a black hole cluster for security. If they dont destroy it, more SUn Crushers and Death Stars will be built.

 

Admiral Dalla hides her fleet inthe Cauldron nebula, bacause the gas confuses sensors. If you dont go after her, she will continue to strike at Alliance bases.

 

You cant take a planet if you leave its defense fleet upo in orbit. Theyll just bombard the hell out of you on the ground.

 

ANd in Space, you have to know how to ues your capital ships as well as starfighters, not liek air and naval combat. And without either of the 2, we would have lost WW2.

Hah hah space battles are only boring if there is only 1 plane to travel on but in 3d (EAW) you can go up down and forward backwards and lefty right (Instead of 2d forward left right backwards)

What if hte AI is good. Its a brand new game, surely they have improved a bit since the last C&C. And this isnt even a C&C game, its Star Wars.
