Saracen 16 Posted July 7, 2005 It is al Queida terrorist attacks. At least 7 Bombs have gone off.. so far. It's hard to know at the moment what is going on at the moment, there's confusion all over the city. Tony Blair is really pissed off, and so he should be. We need to route out Osama, I wouldn't care if we had to used MOABs, Daisy Cutters, or even nukes to kill the bastard, it needs to be done. I am seriously worried, my uncle uses the busses and underground in London, and would have been in the heart of it on his way too work. I'm shaking in fear of his safety Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted July 7, 2005 I don't mean to discredit you or anything but..are you sure it's Al Queida? Did they claim responsibilty? I'm just being a bit skeptic here, I don't mean to offend you King. I hope your uncle is okay too. I'm worried about my own uncle and aunt, they just moved recently from here to there..yeesh...freaky man.. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted July 7, 2005 Well it's been confirmed as terrorists attacks, and they are well co-ordinated and went off almost all at the same time. This is trademark Al Quieda. ""Latest update that a group of Al Quieda have claimed responsibility for the events** Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted July 7, 2005 Grr...they should've gotten the bastard when they got the chance...mind you, they've had soo many chances already! Share this post Link to post

Saracen 16 Posted July 7, 2005 G8 is a meeting between the worlds 8 richest and most pweorful nations.. Bush, Chirac, Blair, and whoever else runs a powerful country, all meet up once a year to discuss world politics and how to improve upon them. This years G8 was supposed to be about poverty in Africa and dealing with the hunger and famine. Now it will be about the terrorist attacks here in the UK and how best to blow the hell out of them. TheBlackOut 7 Posted July 7, 2005 lol, prolly both. Chirac: what should we do about Africa? Bush and Blair: Blast the hell outta Al Queda! Chirac: What? Oh ya, sure. You go do that. France is a powerful country? Huh, never would of thought. Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted July 7, 2005 Four bombs At least 39 dead. Im glad that George Bush was suporting Blair at G8 and hope the Fu(kin 2wats who did it are found and hung. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted July 7, 2005 according to the ITV news programme which i've been watching for the past two hours: 37 dead so far, over 45 critically injured. over 700 wounded. (according to The Sun, 53 dead. may be true. update this as it happens) 4 targets hit - a number 30 double decker bus had the top blown off it, 2 people killed on the bus and numerous others with missing limbs and burns. kings cross station and the joined station also got hit, as well as two other train stations... lead suspect is the "Al-Qa'eda in Europe" or "Al-Qa'ida's Jihad in Europe" (original huh?) the guys that admited to it online an hour or so after the attacks before even we knew what was happening. might be suicide bombers, might not be... although this was targeted to mess up the G8 convention it shouldn't affect the meeting. Although Blair did come back to London to organize stuff, nothing bad on that part cos he went straight back. UK economy suffering BADLY at this. G8 still focusing on african aid, olympics and other such issues though i'm sure Jack Straw will do something as a come-back. Luckily i live in Essex now - no longer in london, but will try to keep you guys updated with current situations... now had i still been living there my mom would either be dead, wounded or getting home very late since she used to go to work through kings cross at about 8:40 - 8:50am when the attack there happened. Chances are silm but there that i've lost some childhood friends or some of mom's old work buddies. So as you can imagine i'm following this subject rather closely and will probably be watching the news all night oh yes: on the subject of who did it, the "Al-Qa'eda in Europe" is pretty much a small number of islamic extremists who have come over directly from training camps and hire extremists from the country they are in. which means most likely we got bombed by our own people cos some p*ssed off teenager got brainwashed at the wrong time : This is resulting in possible searches on trains from now on over here and as i'm sure the americans already known, security got boosted from yellow to orange... expect the ID card thing to go through parliament a lot quicker now and US-level security everywhere... Like i said - i may update this as more news comes in. whenever possible i'll just edit my previous posts to save spamming. thank you for your time The hotline for more information on casualties is 0870 156 6344. that is directly from the ITV website, if you fear a loved one may be caught up in it phone the number If you can't contact them directly use this number as there are painfully high numbers of people phoning up to check on people Share this post Link to post
Waraddict 0 Posted July 7, 2005 I am horrified, saddened and disturbed what happened in London, I hope nobody I know or anyone here know's has been killed from it but unfortunately no matter what 37 people did lose their lives today and roughly that many families will be in deep morning, my heart goes out to them. I am sceptical that the group that did it are even Al Qaeda associated, unfortunately in a sick twisted way, Al Qaeda to other terrorist groups is like a celebrity, everyone (the terrorists in this case) wants to be them, and honestly, if it WERE Al Qaeda it would have been much more serious, the bombs used were said to be of simple small incindary type and not a typical type of bomb an experienced terrorist group would use to commit mass killings. I think it is dangerous to start this "OMG its Al Qaeda again!" thinking, the more people do this, the more publicity amongst the terrorist world Al Qaeda gets, the more terrorists commit these attrocities in it's name. As for Bin Laden, whether or not it is Al Qaeda that did this, he should have been killed back in Afghanistan, his death is overdue, sadly though, terrorism being the blight that it is, I fear that either the killing of Osama will at best change nothing and at worst create a dangerous marter, but It's worth the risk. Mina Synd 0 Posted July 7, 2005 it went up to 38 dead... the goverment thinks it must be this varient of Al-Qa'eda... the "Al-Qa'eda's jihad of Europe" one since they are not directly with them, but say they are. the signs are too close to them... some think it might be ETA, and there's even a couple of american's i know who thought it was the IRA. which actually made me laugh out loud... but in all honesty, the UK has only ever experienced one or two terrorist groups and we know their patterns so it makes more sense for it to be the Al-Qa'eda splinter group since it's nothing like we've ever experienced before and the style of attack is so similar to other bombings they have done. i doubt Bin laden has anything to do with this nor even knows about it... i mean if one group of idiots sets off a couple of bombs then suddenly announce themselves as being part of a larger group who know nothing about it... well what happens? i'm willing to bet it was a couple of extremists who got ahold of some old IRA weapon stock and went trigger happy. either way Jack Straw is claiming the attacks had "hallmarks" of Al Qa'eda... go figure. if it makes people paranoid and worried about safety, why is that a bad thing? it will get police on the streets and make the country safer. Either way, this is the worst single even the UK has had since the Falklands, and the worst ever civllian attack since the Blitz... i mean sure. the IRA... big deal. sure they were considered terrorists by the british goverment: but every time they set a bomb they warned the police about it in advance. the only times people were killed in an IRA bomb were because police didn't react to the warning, something went wrong or the bomb blew accidentally. these attacks are vicious, random and purposely directed to mass civillian groups. there's a slight difference between a small bin bomb in a quiet area and a large bomb in the subway at rush hour no? F15pilotX 4 Posted July 8, 2005 I can't put in words how much I feel for you in England ,but Waraddict: I am skeptical that the group that did it are even Al Qaeda associated The reason why they've been saying that is because Al-Queda always attacks simultaneously, and these were simultaneous attacks :shot: Al-Queda Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted July 8, 2005 We need a mechine where it can transport all innocent people from the middle-east then nuke it. Share this post Link to post
