instalation problem

Recommended Posts

i haven't used my cd in a long while, so it got pretty messed up (dirty) and i've tried cleaning it and all, but it still gives me an error that reads: " The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click on OK to terminate the application. " but before it said "The setup.exe file could not be found", so could anybody help me out???

TIA

If you've got your recipt, take it back and get a replacement..if not you're gonna have to buy a new copy.

Yeah, that's all you can do... this happened to me a few years ago and I had to do the same thing.

Even if you have to buy a new copy, Red Strike is only $20 USD

The first thing i told them i had checked was running in different compatability modes. 3 days later they said "lets try something different now and see if running in different compatability modes will work"
