Koen 2 Posted September 3, 2005 The new design for TibEd.net is now online: http://www.tibed.net You can still give feedback on how to make it better, of course. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 3, 2005 I think it looks cool... Though this button: Looks kinda tacty.. Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted September 3, 2005 But what does the word tacty mean . It has only 1620 occurences on Google... so it's okay that I don't know about it  I'm still curious though Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 40 Posted September 3, 2005 It means it's rather lacking in style or distasteful. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted September 4, 2005 Yep what Fenring said. I suppose it doesn't help when I spell it wrong.. Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted September 4, 2005 Ah right. Well that marks the end of the Buy Now button then... it'll be replaced within the week. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 292 Posted September 4, 2005 The CNCNZ Network list is also in, and it's really clever in that it downloads the JavaScript from CNCNZ.Com So your no longer using this code? <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" src="http://www.cncnz.com/network/networklist.js"></script> Also, I would add something as a background to the nav bar on the left. It looks a big black space to me. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 4, 2005 maybe a water ish pattern that is redand black Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted September 5, 2005 The CNCNZ Network list is also in, and it's really clever in that it downloads the JavaScript from CNCNZ.Com So your no longer using this code? <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" src="http://www.cncnz.com/network/networklist.js"></script> Actually I do use it, only not every user has to open it anymore. Instead, it is static inside the page, but everytime I update any page on my own PC, the file is downloaded and expanded into all pages. So updates to the JavaScript will not be immediate on TibEd.net, but they will come through. My program will extract all links and site titles and use them to generate a menu similar in style to the other things. How do I always make something simple sound complicated  Share this post Link to post
