dhchoi 0 Posted October 1, 2005 I installed the Red Alert(for windows 95) following the instruction in the homepage at windows XP. Well, it operates well, but it does not respond to mouse clicking... just respond to the keystrocks and moving mouse pointer... I'm so sad now that I cannot play Red Alert although I installed it successfully... Please give me some help... Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted October 1, 2005 Sometimes (although rarely), you have to change the resolution of the game screen. Share this post Link to post
dhchoi 0 Posted October 2, 2005 Thank you for your reply, but when I changed the resolution, it keeps doing that... But amazingly, in dos mode, it operates!...(But in this time, without any sound...) Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted October 6, 2005 To get sound in DOS mode you need the sound emulator VDM Sound. http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=programs#VDM Share this post Link to post
dhchoi 0 Posted October 7, 2005 Well, I tried it, but it does not detect CD rom now... maybe because using daemon tool? Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted October 31, 2005 You have to enable the VDMS option "CDROM support" in the shortcut's settings Share this post Link to post
the phil 0 Posted April 18, 2006 I have the exact same problem. I can click when in the game, only left click, no click and drag. No right click, ever. Can't left click on the in-game menus. Anybody manage to get around this? Share this post Link to post
