Problems with EA's Servserv

Recommended Posts

Guest rizla

This is an update to the XWIS server downtimes. While we have our site and ladders back online the servserv.westwood.com domain is down, this is effecting all traffic to the WOL servers, this includes XWIS. Therefor to be able to play on XWIS during the servserv downtime you need to download the tool and press set.

and a backup should ST go down.

Recent problems with the network outage at EA have now been resolved.

If you are having any problems playing on XWIS, please feel free to peruse the Strike Team Help Section and post a question if you can't find the answer. I will also try and check back here to see if I can assist with any XWIS related questions :D

Thank you everyone for your patience.

APOC from EA has made the following comment on recent XWIS downtimes from the following topic on planetcnc.:

from "EA-Apoc"

I am currently working with Olaf and our networks department to resolve the issue. To be perfectly honest, the main technical man who can fix the issue is on vacation this week, so we are trying to see if anyone internally can address the problem.

Once we get this fixed, there shouldn't be any more outages. Hopefully we can get this resolved this week. I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks for understanding my POV, I respect all your comments and personal feelings and what you want in a C&C game and what you feel the entire community wants.

Believe me, I'm not the only one who knows, our development team very well knows this :o)
