i added in sciences that antrax bomb and carpet bomb

apear on china on level 5, i set up to who it belongs (china) and on what rank (5)

 

then in special powers i fixed carpet bomb (to whos science it goes)

 

and while playing game with china (skirmish) i didnt got nothing :/

 

anyone explain why?

Hmm....I can't help you with such explanation. Could you post a more detail explanation about the codes you wrote? Maybe by posting the codes here, so I might can help you. And tell me the step that you have done in making those.

well for Science:

 

AnthraxBomb

i changed

Prerrquisite: SCIENCE_CHINA SCIENCE_Rank5

DisplayName: SCIENCE:CHINAAnthraxBomb

 

all other is same as was

 

CarpetBomb

i changed

DosplayName: SCIENCE:CarpetBomb

Prerequisite: SCIENCE_CHINA SCIENCE_Rank5

PoinCost: 1

----------

 

In specialPowers i changed:

SuperWeapon: Carpet Bomb

Science required: SCIENCE_CarpetBomb

Hmm....I can't help you with such explanation. Could you post a more detail explanation about the codes you wrote? Maybe by posting the codes here, so I might can help you. And tell me the step that you have done in making those.

Are those the only codes you modified? If it is, it's obvious that the modification won't work. If you forgot to give other details, please write it here.

You need to take a look at SpecialPower.ini. See how the code works, then link the newly made science code. The codes in Science.ini are only functioning to stor informations about the science and science advancement. The file that controls the whole weapons or units which require timed attack is the SpecialPower.ini

 

I can't help you much at the moment, because I have already uninstalled ZH long time ago. But I still remember some coding. The best way to solve the problem is, that you need to undestand how the special power works first.

 

A unit with special power will commonly use this files:

- SpecialPower.ini

- Science.ini

- CommandButton.ini

- CommandSets.ini

- And the files regarding the unit's object codes itself

 

The most important thing in modificating special power is the SpecialPower.ini and Science.ini. Just take a look at the buil-in codes samples.

i use tibed 2 exactly because i dont want to hassle with searching code

and "understanding" it :P

 

i guess tibed 2 is not capable of moding the game...
