EB games does not "scam"... I know people who work in EB Games, they are even having a contest for who can get the most pre-orders for various games.. so I pre-ordered a bunch from my friend, CnC3 being one of them... they even have the release date, 2/01/07... I was not scammed

I'm not waiting to compare - if I don't have it preordered I will be buying it as close to release as possible (and running home to play it too! ).

I'll wait for the reviews before purchasing -- and by reviews, I mean the impressions of the forum people here, C&C DEN and several other gaming sites that I frequent.

 

On another note, I'm reluctant to preorder because I've been burned by EA post-release support recently. EA abandoned support for Need for Speed: Most Wanted only a few months after release, leaving me with a barely playable game. I'll be hesitant to part with my money unless I'm confident that the game will run properly on my PC -- a demo would be helpful in this regard.

Pre-ordering now is stupid. Its way to early to pre-order C&C3. There is no confirmed C&C3 release date so any date you read on any online store is just made up.

 

As for a demo, I don't think so. But EA may do a beta test, they did for BFME2.

Why does everyone think it is going to have poor graphic quality? From the trailer and such the units look quite detailed, and they are just previews. plus loads of sparkling tiberium and 100's of tanks all 3d will be better than generals.
