Metal Gear Solid : The Movie!

I call it jumping on the band wagon. Because there is a Halo movie and Splinter Cell movie in the works.

Somehow, I don't really want a CNC movie. It doesn't seem like movie material, I fear it'd get raped.

StarCraft might make a good one. SC fans are too much of Nazis to let their series have any inaccuracies in the sequels, and since Blizzard made the first one and is still in place unlike Westwood, it's less likely.

However, StarCraft: Ghost was looking pretty ****ed up. Ghosts had sniper rifles instead of C-10 Cannister rifles, Vultures had LASERs, the Marines' Gauss rifles looked all wrong, Firebats had rockets, they introduced a bunch of new vehicles like some ****ty jeep and a "Grizzly Fighter-bomber" which was WAY too good for there to be any balance, Mutalisks shot green globs of acid instead of their Glave Wurms, the Battle Cruisers looked all wrong ... beh ...

I pay a lot of attention to detail in a game like StarCraft, and CNC. I know all the weapons and all the damage and whatnot by name. It kills me to see it all ****ed up for a FPS

Actually I think a C&C movie would be neat if the director was a very heavy C&C fan. I think the martial is there, movie-based off of games are neat if done right.

I like that idea, bout no story just fighting. They can just expand those prutty CGI cutscenes to like mini movies or something. They'd be cool. :P

No CGI.... just building a base.... PWNing the other one going to the next..... Maybe a bref like in Aftermath or Counterstrike :D

Yeah, I kinda don't think that would be very appealing to the general public though Badger... ;)

I always though the Rainbow Six storylines would be good movies or even TV series. I liked the book although it is a bit long.

but if they like put mission briefs in and have ground based action like in renegade that would be decent :)

R6 is rumored to be made into a film soon, along with Without Remorse.

Im a big fan of Tom Clancys books, particularly the Ryan/Clark books, Ive read every one of them, oddly, Im not a big fan of any of the Clancy games.

Man that would be great if it does. I havent read many of his books but i want to when i find the time, their great. Personally i think the Rainbow games have gone downhill alot. 1 and 2 were good because of all the options you had in planning the mission

He's a voice actor and a script writer... I don't think he's an actual "actor"...

John Woo might be a little overly "actionly" for the movie. I mean there is meant to be a little steath in there. haha. :P
