Guest Posted January 5, 2004 hi, I am having a problem loading my rules.ini file into tibed 1.54 and 1.6 it seems that everytime i go to import my ini tibed stops responding. This is for Tiberian sun. Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted January 5, 2004 Importing files is a bit... unstable, to say the least. It depends a lot on how the INI file was created: TibEd rules.ini files can get imported most of the time, but Deezire for example will crash. Now, generally, TibEd will either import the file or it will crash. Perhaps if you send me the file I can try it for myself. This is a design issue in TibEd 1.x and in TibEd 2 it is done differently, not giving this problem, but TibEd 2 only supports Generals at the moment. Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted January 5, 2004 Well i gave up on editting it with a program seems there was something about my added armoury that tib didnt like as when i went to import useing sunedit it would not want to import that building. So i just edited the ini the old way. Manualy lol takes alot longer but it works. Share this post Link to post
