Hi.. can you help me with my problem....?

 

my problem is how to make the AI more agressive??

 

and the other one is how to make icons,cameos,and other mod stuff???

 

and lastly where i can download the XCC files...??

 

youre help should be helpful..? :D

I used ai editor so i could change the hard ai tactics to easy but i'm still working on ai myself

XCC Mixer most often but you should use the Mix Editor for modifying your own mix files and the XCC Mod Creator for mod packaging and distribution.

ah.. okay... i will do that.

but where to find the picture, cameo editing tools???like the paint something..

 

and where to find that aimd.ini file??.. i cant see it in my mix files...

Go to the file directory of the game using mixer then find RA2 or ra2md if your using yuris revenge and you have all the mix files all the INI files are in Local as well as all voxel (tanks planes v3 type missiles) if you need things like the rhino tank your gonna need to go to the RA2 mix and then go to its local to get it

 

for cameos they're in the language mix file troops and animations are in the RA2 mix and then the conquer mix

 

if you want to modify cameos theres the SHP editor just google it and you'll find a download for it just takes a little time to work out the palette thing

i have another problem... when i make a new unit.. it says Missing Name something.. how do i fix it.....

 

and can give some sites where i can find shp,vxl files...

maybe i will make a mod (or maybe not)....

www.Yrarg.cncguild.net if you go to revora forums theres a list of resource sites in their voxels and SHP thread

 

that NAME thing you need to open XCC go to launch then XCCstring editor open that then go to NAME and to add your unit name go insert Name:UIname goes here (check your unit entry in rules INI) then go to edit and type the name of the unit into the window and go close there should be a file named RA2MD.csf this holds all your names for all units countries etc in the game

no I think it opens the CSF file and modifies it I think it automatically saves when you close it

thx... i did some new units. and they worked perfectly

but i was thinking how can i put my files to the mod launcher program

??????

 

and how about making new supers?? because i see in one mod and it is cool

Put your files into mix files or put all your files in the mod launcher so when it opens it extracts all the files to your directory and removes them after you exit the game

wait I mean mod creator in it go insert and put your files in its sorts depending on the file type

 

Oh and if you try launching it go Alt control delete and close the game on the first time you start the game when you start it up cause theres a bug on XCC mod launcher just go start the mod again it'll work

Use the XCC Mod Creator. It exports an EXE that lunches your mod automatically. Simply drag and drop the necessary files into the proper sections, save, export as an EXE and done.

Yea tibed only goes as far as modding units for other stuff like adding new countries or superweapons you need to look at modencs rockpatch tutorials
