Bio Shock Demo!

Sure it came out for the Xbox like last week or something lame, but its now out for the PC.

Played the demo, its kinda cool, but pissed me off as it ended just as it was getting good.

It is a beautiful, besaddening, atmospheric uber-game.

I dunno if it's just me, but I felt rather unimpressed by the demo.

 

Everything seemed in check, but the weapons in the game just didn't seem to have a realism factor about them. As a result I just didn't feel connected with the whole experience.

 

Graphically the game felt too overdone. Everything felt a bit too cartoony, probably because max detail at a 1280 x 960 resolution using a 7900 with DX9 doesn't quite cut it. But I dunno.

I didn't use the weapons much, that machine gun looked lame, I like the shock power though, and hte good old wrench!
