sith_wampa 6 Posted March 21, 2008 Tell me two policies that he has that you don't agree with. Better yet, tell me two that you find unreasonable... The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them. Wrong. That statement is complete bull****. The United States invaded Iraq under false pretenses without a constitutionally-required declaration of war. Wrong. It's not a war because Congress never declared it. It is a military engagement authorized by Congress. And even if it was a war, it's over now because the state we would have declared war against is under our control now. We seem to have forgotten that our primary objective in the war on terror is to capture or kill bin Laden and his henchmen. Wrong. Our primary objective is to destroy terrorism. Killing Bin Laden is just one of many steps in the process as a whole. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 22, 2008 all of those statements were technically accurate at the time they were said though o.O and the war on terrorism was pretty much to get bin laden xD; the US has been obsessed with him since the whole tower thing. it's like where's waldo (yes. i'm using the american version for the benefit of those out there >_>) you wanna put the book down but you just can't do it until you find him and his dog and the bone and the scroll >_>; Share this post Link to post

Original blog here. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,642825,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3756650.stm http://www.news24.com/News24/World/News/0,...1413309,00.html - I agree... somewhat. In his blog, here he goes on to talk about more detailed on what he mains. I agree with him. - Actually, from his blog here that statement was made before the Iraq War. What was our main purpose to invade Afghanistan again? Bush mostly said to kill Osama Bin Laden, in the hopes are of weakening severely al-qaeda. Along the way, we got rid of the Taliban (which have been coming back, btw) but our main goal was to kill him and weaken al-qaeda. We weakened them, but they came back because they had their effective leader. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 23, 2008 exactly o-o; that's what i was trying to say only you offered evidence to prove it xD Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted March 24, 2008 By the way TBO, the reason no WMDs have been found is because he moved them to Syria before the US could capture them. http://www.2la.org/syria/iraq-wmd.php Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 25, 2008 figures xD next be syria! XD don't forget korea xD; is it just me or do too many people have wmds? x3 Share this post Link to post

JahSpoR 0 Posted March 30, 2008 so, it looks like Obama is going to win? Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 6 Posted March 30, 2008 so, it looks like Obama is going to win? Haha, far from it. Democrats are ****ing themselves up - John McCain will most likely win because of it. Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Today's situation is similar to one I had in President Forever 2008 + Primaries. Rudy Giuliani and I have been duking it out for week now, while Clinton basically blew away everyone on the Democratic side in about ten minutes. McCain's has to be happy. It doesn't matter who loses the Democratic primaries. McCain will win anyway. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted March 31, 2008 *scratches head* wait so now McCain is gonna win? i thought this was pretty much a battle between clinton and obama o.o; figures though i guess. america still isn't ready x3; Share this post Link to post

You got the Democrats (Dems) vs. Republics (repubs) On the democrats, Obama vs Hilary for the DEMOCRAT nomination On the Republicans, McCain already won, so he can just go on his merrily way campaigning for the White House while the Democrats are still fighting for who will represent them... Doctor Destiny 41 Posted March 31, 2008 Nah, McCain won't win ****. I'm really hoping the country won't elect Bush for a third term (I pray you people get this reference. If not, holy ****, you people are thick). I'm tired of Republicans, and Democrats alike as well, but the Dems seem like the only party interested in withdrawing from that failure of an excursion in Iraq and will focus on domestic issues instead of being too global. **** this, I'm going to run in 2012. ISOLATIONISM FOR ALL! Wait, ****, I can't. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted April 1, 2008 Screw that, I should run, I'd make NZ much better off tbh. Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted April 1, 2008 I should run for President. I'd kick ass. DD, you can be my vice president. John McCain will get elected. I have a gut feeling about this. And Bernie Mac always says that you should listen to your gut. Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted April 1, 2008 aaah thank you blackout. that clears it up a whole lot more. the half assed propaganda i hear doesn't tell me anything. all i hear all the time is "clinton vs obama to be president!" with the occassional mention to other candidates. i guess i'm just gonna see how this one plays out... hmmph o.o; Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted April 1, 2008 It is pretty likely that McCain will be elected, the democrats are running minorities in essence screwing themselves over Share this post Link to post
Mina Synd 0 Posted April 2, 2008 that sounds about right o.o; america just isn't ready for minorities to take over (even though women make up over 2/3 of the country and african american's something like 1/7) but once again, i doubt either of those two are ready to take power anyway so it's probably for the best ^^; let's hope McCain turns out to be a good president aye? :3 Share this post Link to post
