The war in Iraq was sold to us with false information. The area is more dangerous now than when we entered it. We destroyed a regime hated by our direct enemies, the jihadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them.

Wrong. It's not a war because Congress never declared it. It is a military engagement authorized by Congress. And even if it was a war, it's over now because the state we would have declared war against is under our control now.

 

We seem to have forgotten that our primary objective in the war on terror is to capture or kill bin Laden and his henchmen.

all of those statements were technically accurate at the time they were said though o.O and the war on terrorism was pretty much to get bin laden xD; the US has been obsessed with him since the whole tower thing. it's like where's waldo (yes. i'm using the american version for the benefit of those out there >_>) you wanna put the book down but you just can't do it until you find him and his dog and the bone and the scroll >_>;

- Actually, from his blog here that statement was made before the Iraq War. What was our main purpose to invade Afghanistan again? Bush mostly said to kill Osama Bin Laden, in the hopes are of weakening severely al-qaeda. Along the way, we got rid of the Taliban (which have been coming back, btw) but our main goal was to kill him and weaken al-qaeda. We weakened them, but they came back because they had their effective leader.

Today's situation is similar to one I had in President Forever 2008 + Primaries. Rudy Giuliani and I have been duking it out for week now, while Clinton basically blew away everyone on the Democratic side in about ten minutes.

 

McCain's has to be happy. It doesn't matter who loses the Democratic primaries. McCain will win anyway.

Nah, McCain won't win ****. I'm really hoping the country won't elect Bush for a third term (I pray you people get this reference. If not, holy ****, you people are thick). I'm tired of Republicans, and Democrats alike as well, but the Dems seem like the only party interested in withdrawing from that failure of an excursion in Iraq and will focus on domestic issues instead of being too global.

that sounds about right o.o; america just isn't ready for minorities to take over (even though women make up over 2/3 of the country and african american's something like 1/7) but once again, i doubt either of those two are ready to take power anyway so it's probably for the best ^^; let's hope McCain turns out to be a good president aye? :3
