+-+-+ they won't build microwave tanks as they already have "microwave guns" for hummers. +-+-+ it's in the Time magazine issue about "non-lethal weapons". there, the Microwave hummer can 'excite' the particles in the area faced by the 'weapon' and can therefore control the temperature (faster they move, hotter it gets or visa versa) so the reason it's non lethal is because they set it to 'sizzle' not 'fry' like in ZHour. +-+-+ i usually leave if i play against cheaters (although i play more LAN battles, so i can walk up to them and "talk" to them about cheating) LK
-
+-+-+ ummm kool... this is pretty bad ass. i wish i had a particle cannon... blow up some people.... +-+-+ but thanks for sharing, i only thought that the fuel air bomb was the most weirdest, yet real weapon in our glorious game. LK
-
+-+-+ man... you know i've been always wanting to know where to find those... +-+-+ hell, i'll do another weekly search for them. if i find anything i'll share'em here alright mate? LK
-
+-+-+ i also got the other albums (all albums, but not all the songs) that older CNC games had. they are very good, Frank Klepacki is a fraggin' genius. Hell March and Hell March 2 and Grinder... 3 very good songs. LK
-
+-+-+ i got'em... but i forgot which one it was (i got like... 6 of the CNC zero hour tracks but i can't remember which was which) +-+-+ the guy who did the music was Bill Brown http://bbmusic.crosswinds.net/musicG4.htm#Generals +-+-+ i prefer Frank Klepacki's stuff though, much more industro-funk LK

+-+-+ geez, i'm korean right. i can't read korean cos i moved to NZ when i was very young. The thing with Korean shops is that they say that it's in Korean, but it never is. It's very annoying. +-+-+ i'm not a computer whiz so i can't help you with the English Menu you're after. sorryz LK

+-+-+ sadly it still has major bugs. +-+-+ mainly to do with some of the Generals Powers not working (namely the Artilley General's ones) +-+-+ and plus, the Hover Crusader disappeares once it touches the water. +-+-+ Blitzkrieg 2 ain't that bad of a mod either, runs reallll smooth. Yes the Last Stand Mod does lag quite a lot. i usually up my texture to the max, and my particle caps to 0 so that it runs smoothly. +-+-+ anyways, in that Mod, the GLA do get airforce like said. lol i was offtopic for quite a while there. my bad. LK
-
+-+-+ OMG that mod is so kick ass. +-+-+ i love that artillery general with that... thing with multiple rokkit launchas on it. ooo they were ... so terrifyingly osome. MF3000

+-+-+ ahh my bad +-+-+ i got the info. from a book that's been printed in the 1990's so i couldn't trust it to the utmost perfection. but if any offence/harm was caused, i apoligise. MF3000 -
+-+-+ what's wrong with MiG's? they are good for the cost... i mean... other than their upgrades ($2000 for Black Napalm and $1000 for MiG armour) they are pretty decent for $1200 each. 4 x MiGs = 1200 x 4 = $4800 1 x Black Napalm = $2000 1 x MiG Armour = $1000 Total = $7800 +-+-+ if you position each bombing run with all four of the MiG's (which you should be able to since, you are not concentrating on lots of stuff at the beginnin of the game) you can make a successful run against a group of patriots and suvive with minimal (like one MiG) or no casualties. it's nice to have EMP tanks near the return flight route of the MiG's to bounce away missiles. +-+-+ i suggest sticking to a mix wave of Infantry Missiles and Tanks (dragon tanks are decently good, with the fire wall thingy...) +-+-+ here's what i know about Japan. +-+-+ Banned from going to war by their constitution, the Japanese would not want to attack anyone. Thank God they only have a "self-defence force" which is; 286, 200 strong infantry annual budget of $60billion (Australian dollars) 420 Jet Fighters 49 destroyers 16 subs 1080 armoured tanks unknown numbers of missiles Japanese Airforce Mitsubishi made F-16's Mitsubishi Sikorsky S-70 (UH-60 version) in JapAirSelfDefenceForce SAR role Mitsubishi Sikorsky S-70 (SH-60 version) in JMaritimeSDF ASW role Kawasaki P-3's CH-47s and OH-6s and the new OH-1 Fuji-built AH-1's which are the main weapon of the Japan Ground Self Defence Force +-+-+ that's all i know so far... i used to have books on the different armed forces and their armaments... but i can't find it. +-+-+ basically, the Japanese army is using USA made weapons and USA licensed weapons (like they produce M-16's or whatever in Japan, by other companies other than Colt) Indonesia Infantry;698000 (2/3 = army, the rest are crew; poorly trained and lead) Special Forces = trained by the Australian Army so decently good with OZ weapons Airforce = 140 Navy = 75 destroyers and 2 subs AFV's = 465 (small tanks and APC's... nothing big) no missiles The Airforce useless beyond imagination F-16's mainly second hand Westland Wasp seagoing helicopters +-+-+ i'm guessing the indonesian army is either using the Chinese weapons, with the special forces using OZ sold Steyr AUG's... they also have I think either the CIS Ultimax 100 machine gun (made by Singapore) or the Type 81 Chinese Machine Gun. (I think either of these guns are what the soldiers in the background of the Infantry general's portrait are holding) +-+-+ that's all for now. maybe if i happen on my books again i can re-post. LK -
+-+-+ found it on the net LK[/img]

+-+-+ get Lotus as quickly as possible, and let her lurk in the base or just take the HQ +-+-+ if you lurk there, and the enemy builds the super weapon, you can take it. (this is ofcourse, when the enemy is distracted by your 'distraction assault' on another part of the base. +-+-+ one other tactic, is as mentioned, causing a traffic jam. (it's so osome to do that, and blast the crap out of them with MiG's or Artillery (inferno or nuke cannon, what ever you have) +-+-+ i usually like Jarmen Kell better, but i don't use my heroes much, only as defences really. LK
-
+-+-+ yeah quad cannons are really good, especially if they are behind buildings... then they don't get shot at by enemy planes. +-+-+ ooo and the 3 scrap up grades and the AP bullets... if lucky, veterancy as well, they just chew up squadrons of MiGs and Raptors and if accompanied by captured Outposts or Radio Vans, they can destroy Stealth Fighters too. +-+-+ aurora bombers are still pain in the neck though lol LK

+-+-+ you got a link? i only found CNC reborn for renegade... so i don't know which game you are talking about. +-+-+ and the theiving is usually discouraged for the sake of game balance. The general won't have any special skills because he just steals them. (Ala Mokujin from tekken3? boring character) LK -

+-+-+ ahh the shoes.. yeah... it sounds silly but i thought the worker's shoes idea was kinda silly in my opinion. +-+-+ for the USA, you could have a technology general (already mentioned) +-+-+ so s/he relies on experimental weapons namely sonic weapons? like in CNC Tiberian Sun those tanks for the GDI have sound waves (or something like that.) A link between the two worlds perhaps? +-+-+ and s/he will be more economical rather than focused or powerplants like the Super Weapon General and the Laser General. so there will be improved defences for chinooks (like a sonic shield or something techno-wizzy) and fire platforms with sonic cannons~ they flip tanks. and they could just have normal patriots. +-+-+ maybe the missile defenders can get an upgrade to use a Sonic Boom round. Instead of a stream of missiles wooshing out from a laser pointer, it could be just a single big bang. But to balance it out, maybe it won't home in... or it only works against land vehicles... or it's slow at homing in, some sort of disadvantage... +-+-+ for the GLA artillery general, we got the shoes... the infantry artillery... a new defence building... maybe a gun buggy instead of a rokkit buggy (again, an oversized cannon on the tiny chassis). but i guess this general will be significantly slower than the usual GLA army, and will use sustained bombardment and quick get aways rather than zippy assaults and freak attacks with anthrax and stealth. +-+-+ Urban General - don't know which faction it should be but here goes. 1. garrisoned units cannot be killed by flame/toxin/flashbang/bunkerbusters/microwave weapons. They get flushed out OR does not get any affects (just damages the building). 2. if non-USA army, then maybe this general can receive a siege tank. A short ranged siege cannon mounted on a tank chassis. Extremely effective against garrisoned units as the cannon 'freezes' units inside buildings (because of the immense shock wave). But i guess the gun has to have a slow reload time to balance this special skill. On infantry and tanks outside vehicles they could do considerable damage, but not fatal damage... +-+-+ i reckon for the Tank General, he should've gotten a tank bunker (like one of the older CNC games) so that the defending tanks (since the bunkers and infantry are bloody expensive) can gain some sort of defense capabilities. (probably not a overlord...since those behemoths are pretty much invulnerable just as they are). +-+-+ and i thought a tank rider infantry would've been quite cool, but that's more World War 2 era rather than modern day 'human conservative' warfare... +-+-+ that's all for now... +-+-+ oh yeah, for the mountain troops thing, i was thinking; 1. have a specialist unit (aka, team with some sort of gun) or 2. an upgrade like the worker's shoes (ala mountain shoe?) that allow infantry to scale mountains... LK -

+-+-+ hey all, i'm new here +-+-+ for the artillery GLA general you could also have anti-tank vehicles. Like, a hull mounted cannon - but not like the Maurauder Tank because honestly, i've never used them. The fact that they are so fragile just puts me off. The artillery general could also specialise in mountain warfare to keep in with the middle eastern theme, like Artillery Teams (mortar infantry that can climb through mountains...). Or an option to build those artillery platforms (not the USA ones, the neutral ones) Like this General is everything about big guns  +-+-+ Chinese could probably use a new general... but i can't really think up of any good balanced Generals... USA they are pretty good all round. although the special forces general ain't bad; an army of specialists! (maybe they could get AT rifles instead of missile defenders. meh~ i donno) LK
