All religions play the part of moral guide and laws that guide society... Nietzsche would agree with you, but not in the fashion you'd think. Nietzsche would say "God is Dead", but he doesn't mean that mighty God is killed or dead. What Nietzsche is pointing out is that people are coming closer to abandoning their religion... As more people abandon religion, who will keep Christainity, Judism, Islam alive? No followers means no religion. So the "God is Dead" serves as warning... A warning that the masses are not ready to act on their own free will, and religion is still needed in the world. If everyone was to find out there was no God or heaven, this would be the great disaster Nietzsche also mentioned. Riots would break out, laws would be meaningless and people would suffer as the world plunged into hell. In all I may not be Christian, but I am not against the religion... People are not strong enough to sustain their integrity on their own. So I celebrate we have religions like Christainity, Islam, and Judism... They reflect the nature of fair play, and compassion at times. So as a humanist, I seek those things reguardless of what you may believe... as long as it serves the benefit of man. I decided to re-enlist, By the end of next week, I'll be back in Navy. Then to Norfolk for 2 week refresher course and 12 weeks of C school. My goals will be to get stationed west coast instead of east coast... My old ship the USS Jacinto fired tomahawks for 2 straight weeks into Iraq... and I don't care to taint my soul with another war... Unless Hawaii declares itself under Al Queda control, I should be in the clear and not have to worry about petty face-saving conflicts. I really really want to be stationed in Japan... and get my own place there. This will be difficult, I haven't a lick of Japanese language learned. Either way this should be interesting... With the GLA going to bye-bye in the world of C&C, I decided to keep the theme of a middle eastern super villain... I will need a new personal logo to carry with me to through all evil factions I go to in C&C games... Please I need suggestions what would fit nicely to a new army logo I'm making... a scud missle? a tunnel? I need something humorous and dangerous... Also I need suggestions for a title on the forum board...

Yes, i'm talking about cartoons... I don't care they are a fun subject for me, I have to look at the reasoning and wonder about how they came up with the ideas. Back then... Cobra Commander and Destro were considered "terrorists". It's even in the opening theme. Most definations of the word, COBRA was a terrorist organisation. With the new GI Joe live-action Movie coming out they are making Cobra Commander an Arab in origin.... almost a "Dr. Thrax" type character. It would be an interesting twist, provided they make it reasonable... Cartoon/comic made Movies now a days don't fare too well, except for Spiderman, X-Men, and Hulk. All 3 movies are very good in my opinion and stay true to their storyline. God forbid the movie turn out worse than Fantasic 4. The butchered Dr.Doom in that movie, THAT is unforgiveable!!! Doom is the essence of evil!! The dude built time machines, spacecrafts, portals into hell, Doombots (some think they are really Dr. Doom), and countless other bastard creations... In the movie he's a whinny rich wimp with metal skin... that's blasphemy!!! Doom the lord of arrogance, double crossing, and master of both magic and science.... At the end of GI Joe cartoon there's a moral.... they just take the moral and redub it to something stupid and funny. If you never seen a GI Joe cartoon, you were probably born in the 90s... and you're a kid now... that or not American... Every kid who watched staurday morning TV in the 80s knows GI Joe!!! I get some of material for Masked Shah from Cobra Commander... "Retreat!! Retreat!!!!!!" Those were some good toons for kids to watch, I enjoyed them being when I was 6. Hey Masked Shah is the by product of Team America, and South Park's Saddam Hussein.... The beef is with Matt Stone and Trey Parker... I only copy them... The warped philosophy of the GLA is EA's sterotyping a groups of people into one catagory of terrorist... evil and dirty. Racist sterotyping is not my goal, but only copying what EA games did...
