  1. You changed something to far of accidentally changed something without knowing it. There is no way to reverse it, you have to start over.

    TibEd 2 alpha 13 released

you have to use something like Finalbig, open the ZH.big file or your modded big file. Extract the ini file that has the building you want to add camonetting to. Then add the behavior tag for camonetting stuff. I havent went to see exaclty what it is but i believe there are actually 2 behavior tags you have to add for camonetting to work right.

    TibEd 2 alpha 13 released

The behavior tag for camonetting is not there. You have to add it in manually.

    Camo Netting?

You have to add a behavior tag to the building you want camonetting to be on. Currently tibed cannot do this. If you want it that bad you have to manually put it in.

    Why

Why does Generals have to be patched in order to run a mod on zero hour? I did it but just am curious as to why had to.
  7. Also you may have changed a value to far out of its range. But that is because you changed something that shouldnt have been changed, it is not about your hardware or virus'. That message is just what they(EA Games) would assume would change a value that is not meant to be changed.

    Adding Behaviour Modules

Currently tibed cant. I have asked Koen if he is going to add that feature in, but have not goten a clear response from him lately. Plus I think he has been busy with life right now. He hasnt been here for a while. You can however add them manually but you should do everything you want in tibed first then add it into the big file you want, because any changes you make in the file afterwards tibed may overwrite. If you want a detailed reply on how to add in these tags reply and I will try to explain as best I can. It is not a very easy process, that is why I think Koen has not added it in yet.
  9. First try the latest patch then if that doesnt work do a system scan with an anti-virus. Before you go and shell out more money.

    Why

Yes tibed works now, I was just curious as to why it made me update generals for a mod in zero hour. Where as none of the other versions made me update.

    About my site

How is this discussion at all related to tibed tech support? :bang: :tired: :evilintent:

    Why

I was going to ask a few questions but it ended up as just that one. Plus I dont think the subject needs to be the question, it is the subject of the discussion. That is "why", the question is the rest. I think it would have been stupid to put the question as the subject and left the text area blank. I will however think about what you said and add a more elaborate subject line next time.

    Behavior tags

I mean adding tags that already exist in the game to different units, for instance giving another unit the ability to spot stealth enemies or giving the ability to spawn multiple of a unit with only one click of the build button(like the reddguard do, where you get 2 for 1.) That is called "QuantityModifier" another behavioer tag that is on the barracks, in tibed it is under the behavior "production update" MaxSimultaniousOfType says that there can only be so many of a certain unit. Like colonel burton and black lotus, it is set to 1. This is normally found in design parameters section. the viewer can see it but tibed cant edit it. I am sure there is still a lot of things in game that you havent found yet, but are working hard on.

    Behavior tags

Koen are you going to add in the ability to add behavior tags? Not just edit the ones there. Also how about being able to edit MaxSilmultaneousOfType?
  16. joeb2000

    Why

Actually i meant why did tibed make me do it? It wouldnt even export a mod untill i patched generals.

    TibEd 2 alpha 13 released

That is what i meant. Are you going to post it on your website, or were you waiting for koen to approve it?

    TibEd 2 alpha 13 released

Hey Thierry are you going to place it so we can dl it or are you waiting for koens approval on it?
  19. It also happens if you use a nocd crack to play. I switch back and forth through games so much i would go crazy having to constantly change disks but online it considers it a mod. instead of doing a repair just copy the generals.exe form the disk 1. It is inside data1.cab, all you have to do is have winrar, open the data1.cab file and copy and paste "generals.exe" and "game.dat" to your game folder and overwrite the old ones. that is all a repair will do.

    Huge Problemo

There is a version 13 of tibed. Also is your Generals(not zero hour) game updated to 1.7? If not you have to update it. I dont know why but now tibed has to have generals updated or the mods in zero hour wont work.
  21. Use version 13 http://www.tibed.net/beta/tibed2alpha13.exe

    Help (INI Files)

Did you use tibed to edit the BIG file or did you edit it yourself?
  23. Every time I had tried to it without the spaces it wouldnt work and I would get the "Serious Error" message.

    TibEd 2 alpha 11 & 12

I doubt it is your hard disk letter I run my games on my E: disk and no problems.
  25. Or you can use Finalbig to extract the file that contains the unit you want to make a hero and add this to their area Behavior = VeterancyGainCreate ModuleTag_?? ___StartingLevel = Heroic End Exactly like that. The only thing you have to change is the ?? on module tag. Make sure you use the next number for them. So go through their other tags and make sure you use the correct next number. So if their last numbered tag is 18 you would make this one 19 and make sure you put it after their last behavior tag, to make sure you have it in the right area. NOTE: The spaces in the code matter as well as capitalization. So make sure the spaces are there before "Starting" EDIT: Since it doesnt show the spaces when i posted it is 3 before start. I added underlines to show how it should look, DO NOT put them in. The underline after ModuleTag IS suppossed to be there though. You can also edit how many you get per buy. Like when china you buy a redguard but get 2. The tag for that is Behavior = ProductionUpdate ModuleTag_?? ____QuantityModifier = <Object name> <How many you want> End The underlines are also there just to show spacing. Make sure you use the name in the game like "Nuke_ChinaInfantryRedguard" or "ChinaInfantryBlackLotus" It can be anything but it has to be exactly as the game shows it in the files. You place that tag in the barracks or warfactory that builds what you want multiples of. Remember this is not really somehting you want to do if you have never esited a file. Always make a copy of the original and put somewhere safe incase you mess up and your game doesnt run. So instead of reinstalling you just have to copy the original back over. Or do this on one of the BIG files you created with tibed in the mod directory. Man, this got long huh?
