Sonic 296 Posted June 20, 2008 Since the release of Firefox 3 I've notice a minor bug concerning drop down menus and the appearance of the arrow pointing down. The bug only appears on Firefox 3 and Vista. Firefox 3 on XP is fine. The screen shots below explain. Firefox 3 - Windows XP As you can see the menus are fine, the arrows are there. Firefox 3 - Windows Vista This is Vista, notice the missing arrows, the menus don't look like menus at all. Clicking on the menus makes the arrows appear. I'm no expert but I think its the way Firefox 3 displays menus like this in Windows Vista. I will seek a solution this. Not sure what just yet. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted June 20, 2008 Its not Vista or XP, its actually a Firefox 3 issue. They have changed the way Firefox render menu items as pictured above. The menu arrow is there but its black. I can only change the menu background colour. So don't be surprised if you see the drop down menus return to a more standard white with black text. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted June 20, 2008 Update: Some of the drop down menus such as the ones pictured above have no been changed to white. This the quick fix solution for now. These menus include the Forum Jump Menu, Skin Selector at the bottom of the page, menus on the Members page and menus on the Search page. Other areas such as the submit buttons, text entry fields etc... remain unchanged. Share this post Link to post
