RA3: Commander's Challenge Coming to Xbox 360 & PS3?

[Sonic 298]

This is actually sort of old news that slipped under the radar a bit. Apparently a listing on the ESRB's website has revealed a previously unannounced Red Alert 3 title for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Its called Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge. Think of it as Red Alert 3: Uprising for consoles. The ESRB vaguely describe this game as "a real-time strategy game (RTS) in which players control different factions vying for global supremacy in the wake of global war and occupation." And that's about all the info we have.

As we all know the Commander's Challenge was previously introduced in the PC exclusive, Red Alert 3: Uprising. Speculation is that perhaps that the Commander's Challenge mode will be released as downloadable content for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Shacknews (and other sites) had this small story about it from the middle July, they asked EA for extra information but from the looks of it they received nothing.
