StrongPontiac 0 Posted October 26, 2004 Running XP Home Installed RA with raxpfix.zip and followed the instructions- worked great. Ran 3.03 patch, installed, now RA doesnt work. I receive two errors when opening RA: 1st: "Unexpected error creating registry keys! Please contact Westwood technical support" 2nd: "Installation of Shared Internet Components was not completed." Any ideas? (I tried searching for this topic- couldnt find anything, so sorry if I overlooked it) Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted October 26, 2004 The RA 3.03 patch was an untested beta release to be used at your risk. Its problably the cause of problems. Uninstall Red Alert, make sure all the files from your WestwoodRedAlert folder are deleted. Then reinstall the game and patch it using the 1.08PE update. Share this post Link to post
duel 0 Posted July 16, 2007 There are two versions of the 303 patch for Red Alert, only one of which works. You want the manual patch. The automatic patch will not work. Try uninstalling everything and try again with the manual patch.
