problems with 66.93 drivers

Recommended Posts

Just installed deluxe version -runs great with nvidia 53.03 drivers - installed latest 66.93 drivers (for the benefit of another game ) and now zero hour wont start - gives DirectX error.

Tried turning off FAA & AF - still no luck , asks if I'm using direct x 8.1 - using 9c.

Any ideas anyone?

Oh - Fx5900xt card. NOT o/c

Fixed it! Under My Documents you will find a folder called "Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data" which contains the options.ini file, try editing the line that says:

Resolution = 1280 1024

so that the numbers are the same as your desktops resolution

OR if this fails or is too tedious

delete the OPTIONS.INI file a new one will be created when you restart Zero Hour. The same thing can be done with the Generals options.ini
