First download the BigPOP C&C Generals Data Editor from http://www.cncnz.com/files/generals/utils.shtml#bigpop

 

With this program you can open the .BIG files in your Program FilesEA GamesCommand & Conquer Generals Zero Hour or Program FilesEA GamesCommand & Conquer Generals folder and extract files from them.

 

The music for each side can be found in the AudioEnglishZH.big or AudioZH.big for Zero Hour. Look for Audio.big or AudioEnglish.big for Generals.

I did that a long time ago. I have all the Generals and ZH music on CD to listen to.
