Game controllers is it possible

i got an USB controller for christmas and i got it properly calibrated and everything work but i cant get renegade to read it can it or is there a lot of work i gotta do?

Renegade (or any first person shooter on the PC) is best played with the mouse and keyboard. Renegade doesn't support any game controllers/joysticks at all.

 

Even if it did it would be horrible to control. Stick with your mouse and keyboard when playing Renegade
