thirdeyespiral13 0 Posted March 4, 2005 well, me and a couple friends want to play generals zh online, and i have my firewall off and all my virus protection off and everything. and when we used to start a game it would go really slow and end up booting all of us, but now it brings up some message when we start the game that "unable to connect to other players". I have a 256 videocard 3.0 gig processor and 1 gig of ram and my friends computers are almost similar in spec.. i just cant figure out what to do I got the newest patch as well, but that didnt seem to help any.. someone please help, it would be very much appreciated. judds 0 Posted March 5, 2005 Hi there, sometimes this will happen if one of your friends are using a copied game or serial, i am not accusing you or anyone of this so dont take it personal it is just merely a suggestion, other than that make sure all of your firewalls are properly configured i know you say that your firewall is off but if you are using xp pro then make sure that you have the xp firewall configured as i have had similar problems in the past and although my firewall was configured my xp firewall was still active and preventing my connection. If none of the above apply then all i can suggest is to contact Technical support and they may be able to help, good luck............. Share this post Link to post
