Red Alert Question

OK I was just wondering which to install first Aftermath or Counter Strike? I installed aftermath then counterstrike. Was that right? I think the aftermath patched the red Alert cause a patch windowcame up and ithad no info in it and when i went to scroll itit dissappeared and the installation completed, the same thing happend with counterstrike but a patch error came up saysing that the old files weren't found but simmular ones wereand that it wouldn't compltet the patch. Is that because aftermath alerday completed the patch? Also I have two sperate red alert game files now onewith aftermath and the otherwith counterstrike. Is that normal?

OK I just reinstalled ra and this time i installed it counterstrike and then aftermath i never got the patch error this time and instead of having two sperate icons for scounterstrkeand aftermath i have one just for aftermath but wehn i put in bothe counterstrike or aftermath the cds still work of that one aftermath application. My only question now is that should i have two applications one for counterstrike and one for aftermath or should there just bethe one for aftermath?

With a clean install of RA install Counterstrike, then install Aftermath. Once Aftermath is installed RA is patched to the latest version.

 

Load RA with the Counterstrike CD in your drive to play that. Load RA with the Aftermath CD to play that one. Load the game of the RA Allied or Soviet CD to play the original game.
