Lan Play for Classic C&C

Hi All,

 

I'm sure you've had this post many times before but i just need a straight up answer for this as i'm gonna shoot myself if i read any more contradicting terms!!!!

 

Is it possible to play C&C on winxp without the games dropping out of sync? (Due to IPX/SPX protocol versions)

 

I've read that switches/hubs/crossover connections can make a difference but i find that very hard to believe.

 

If it's not i need to do a dual boot (which is annoying!)

Yes,8) you can play c&c gold on windows xp between 2 pc
