About Tiberian Sun Units To Ra2 mp maps

Hi I know you probably get asked this many times, so thanks in advance. I've been reading most of the tutorials and I noticed that adding a unit is like modding the game , I can't sseem to find one that shows adding shp files to the map itself, so it can transfer in the game to other players. Is there a tutorial for adding ts units to multiplayer maps ??

You can't go any further than editing the Rules.INI with a map unfortunately, anything more would have to be bundled along side the map which would have to be installed manually.

 

However, some units from Tiberian Sun are still in the game. Try editing an existing unit so Image is set to DSHP, as follows:

[UNITNAME] (eg, [WINI])

Image=DSHP

[Guest Rabbit]

What unit does that make?

It's the Drop Ship from TS.

 

 

There's a bunch of stuff on the disk... you just need to look it over. Many things below can be used on a normal map with FA2 and can transfer online. Look around for some site out there for other stuff. I used to make mod maps with this concept a long time ago. Not getting into modding that much you can still make some sweet units. Scripting though ruins such things, unless you improvise with the CSF. Cheers...
