Do you think that C&C Generals is a great game, or is it not what EA said not would be? Someone probably already posted about this, but I'm a noob to this forum. Personally, I think Generals isn't that good. Graphics are great, gameplay is fun, but it definitely is lacking. The storyline is about as driven and interesting as Solitaire's (y'know, the Windows card game?); the title feature was scrubbed because EA's execs couldn't wait another month or two to get the profits (or who/whatever); the units, features, etc. are not very original, and the weather and day/night effects are gone too (they were in one of the videos available for d-load b4 the release).

Now, I'm sure I'll get a lot of complaints from people saying I'm ignoring the good things, etc. Well, I do see the good things. It's 3D w/ decent graphics, improvements over the previous C&C games, dogfights, unique sides, but I still think it doen't deliver what EA said it would. I also think Zero Hour is mostly an attempt to justify the game's name (and to make more money).

Generals is average, the lack to any decent storyline is a big let down. I don't even play Generals anymore. I do play the odd the game of Zero Hour though but I don't play for very long.
