New Processor Maybe?

Recommended Posts

Well, I don't think I need to get a new computer. Wait, let me rephase that.... Well, I don't think I can afford to get a new computer.

Processor -- Click It :o FIREFOX LINK

Processor -- Click It :o INTERNET EXPLORE LINK

My processor is old, pretty good old. But it still owns some of my friends newer processors, which is funny. Its a x86 Family 6 Model 4 Stepping 2 AuthenticAMD ~1202 Mhz. I have no idea if it was good or bad for its day, but its served me well, but now I can't play newer games. NHL 2006 and Bf2 I can't even try the demo to. I got enough memory, I think my video card is good, not great but good enough for now. (NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X)

Is that new processor I am thinking of pleding for Christmas any good? If it isn't, and if you have the time, can you search the site for a good one(with a reasonal price).

I want to play new games.

I am asking you guys online because...

1. My parents know so much about computers, you swear they were cavemen.

2. My friends don't know enough about computers. They know how to play games and that's it. They don't know what RAM is, its pretty sad. My parents know that one.

3. I know there are computer geeks on the internet. :P

Guest MadBadger

.... gdamn it wtf is going on

A. Prosseser does matter

B. Motherbord also matters

C. RAM is least of the 2 above

I gota P4 2GHz and 1 gig of RAM i need a P4 3.4GHz that ill get by X-Mas :P and a new motherbord w/ a built in USB2 port (got USB2 but its just in a spare slot )

I dunno about athlons ect as they dont (as far as i can see) have the whole GHz labled in clear letters cos if i did i could say if its ok or not.

p.s ur Explorer link crashed my computer :?
