how do you get art like cameos and voxels or shps into the game?

xcc mixer... theres a link in the forums somewhere just search the forums for xcc mixer

 

once you got xcc mixer you will need to have a paint program i use PhotoShop just cause i like it bettar.

 

Note: This is for Ra2 and Ra2 Yuri .. what game where you wondering about?

 

open xcc mixer, then File / Open (Browser window opens) Point to either LangMD.mix or Language.mix if your using Ra2 / Ra2 Yuris's. Once you open the language or langmd you should see a file called Cameo.mix / cameomd.mix.. right click the cameo that pertains to you and extract it to your Ra2 folder. Then locate the icons that you want to change etc and right click em copy as PCX to a directory you can locate. Once you got the icons copied over to where you want em, open in your paint program. make sure when you open them that the Color Pallette u use stays the same nothing over 8 bits and its kinda picky i have found. Make the changes etc.. to your pic then save as the pcx file type. open xcc mixer again then point to the directory where the modified Icon is at right click it and Copy as SHP. Then open Explorer where the SPH pics are, then in xcc mixer goto File / Open / cameo.mix. Once its open drag from the explorer window to the xcc window where the cameo is opened at. Once its in that window right click select Compact. Then your done hehehehehe.... for a much better version of this though just goto the xcc mixer site and read up on it thar
