Tiberian Sun installation help

Well I bought a copy of Tiberian Sun and am trying to install it. However after choosing where it will be installed and such and getting to the actual installing part, the setup program just freezes up on me. Is there anything I can do about this?

Try installing to the default path, disable any antivirus scanners before installing. Try setting Windows XP's compatibility mode to Windows 95 on the setup.exe for TS.
