Generals online problem

Whenever me and my friend try to play each other online, one of us gets an error message saying "lost connection". This occurs each time one of us logs in. When i login, my friend who is already logged in gets the error messege and he is logged out, and vice versa.

 

Anybody know a solution to this?

either computer too slow?

 

does it come up with a box with numbers counting down and a vote kick button?

Are you using the same CD key? =/

We have the same problem, but it only boots us when we play with more then 2 people.

 

We get the countdown box all the time.
