RA2 initialization crash! Help!!

Hello, so I bought RA2 (from SoldOut EA collection) and I really really wanted to play it as i never did and i heard its one of the best C&C games. So I come home and install it. Cool installation goes, nice introduction during install bla bla. Then I finish install and click RA2 icon. initializng. ok its working! i am in main menu so i decided to check all other options before i start playing campaign. I changed resolution in Graphics. But then I clicked INTERNET and nothing. menu kind of disappeared and it was just this menu background... for ages. so i killed it. and then im trying to run it again and now I only get thi C&C RA2 initialization screen my CD seems to read but then it starts skipping and nothing happens. I tried reinstalling, i have patch, i cleaned registry, i run in Win98 compatibility mode NOTHING my CDrom is fine i am sure of it.

i have WinXP home, Celeron 1,5ghz, its a laptop so Intel Graphics cards, i have Norton Internet Security but even when i turn it off it wont work... you people probably know RA2 for ages now maybe there was similiar problem back in the past? Am I the only one?! I just want to run this game! :) please help!

i cleaned TEMP folder and it works.
