Hello, im not wery good at english, so i wish that you answer clearly to my question. I have windows XP, and when im starting to play G&G red alert1, screen become black and then this appears:

 

Application error: C:WESTWOODREDALERTTRA95.EXE

An privileged instruction was executed at address 005c7c14

Click on OK to terminate the application

 

And when press OK game crashes.

I have installed those XP packs correctly(or something like that) but it didn't help at all.

Please help! :?

Hi,

 

All you need to do is install Aftermath (that's the 2nd Red Alert Patch, after counterstrike) and after this it should work fine

 

Aftermath modifies RA so that it's compatible with win xp.
