Problems with Tiberian sun

I've been playing c&c tiberian sun online, and after some time I get an error saying: tiberian sun has encountered an internal error and is unable to continue normally

 

I have latest updates and reinstalling the game doesnt work...

 

I've also set WinXP compatibilty for it to Windows 98 but that doesnt help. I know many others have this problem also so is there a solution for this?

 

I have win xp, radeon 9700 amd atholn xp 1800+ 768mt ddr ram and direct x 9.

Make sure your video card drivers are up to date. Remove any traces of any mods you may have installed.

 

If none of that helps, the next step is Google searching.....

Well I have latest drivers, I dont have mods, I've done a lot of google searching(thats how I found this forum) and I still get the error message... I've tried every compatibility option, also tried to run it in 256 color mode.. I even tried to crack it and it still doesnt work.

 

I've read that another topic and i searched for every topic about this problem in this forum and others but cant find a sloution.

Do you have fraps running? If so, shut it down.

 

Logitech mouse? Try a different brand.
