ok now I have everything else but does anyone know a good free (not "free") program that can create and resize partitions?

When you're on Ubuntu, boot the LiveCD, and open the Terminal (Think cmd prompt) and type "sudo gparted"

 

but I think the Ubuntu itself can resize when you install. BE CAREFUL when you format and don't select entire drive or anything.

I tried I just didn't realize u needed unallocated space to make a new partition so I though it jsut had the new button there :P
