How do you whisper someone while playing online?

Go over to their name in the usernames and scroll to the one you want to whisper to, and then click their name so it's highlighted and wallah.

 

Or add 'em to your friends list and talk that way.

No i mean whisper someone who isn't in the same lobby...its annoying having to look through all 20 lobbys to find one person just so you can add them to friends.

I don't think you can actually "search" for someone in C&C3... You could always use a third party piece of software like Xfire or that Comrade system thingey...
