HELP.. Pointer problems with C&C3

Just got C&C3, downloaded all update patches, 30 seconds into game, the pointer stops working and it will only pan around the screen, you cannot select units and the only way to exit out is to do a hard shutdown. PLEASE HELP!!! I am runing this game on a Dell XPS laptop with 2ghz processor and 2 gig of RAM...should be enough.

What sort of video card is your system running?

 

Try updating your display drivers.

I am running an NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 Ultra, I updated the drivers but I am still having the same problem.

I updated every driver that I possibly could on my XPS and now everything works like a charm. Thanks for the help.
