evercl92 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Problem: I start the game (works just fine, though sometimes slow to load). I start a skirmish, game loads fine. I start playing, and at a random time (though 4-6 mins seems to be the most common) the audio freezes, video goes to blank, and monitor and PC act as if I unplugged the video cable (monitor goes to standby mode). No error message or anything. Doesn't allow me to return to windows or anything, a restart is the only fix. New install (3wks ago) of WinXP SP2 and all to-date updates. Fresh install of RA2 and Yuri's Revenge. I've tried running in Win98 compatibility mode., doesn't help. RA2 patched to v1.006, YR patched to 1.001. I've tried both dvd drives, even cleaned out the inside of my pc case (ie, overheating issue). PC specs: Athlon 64 3200+ 1024mb RAM Nvidia GeForce 6200 WD raptor sata hard drive Pioneer DVR 111D DVD-RW JLMS DVD drive I've searched the internet for a while now, with no definite answer.
