    Error 1935 - Trying to Install C&C3 on Windows 8.1

    That is my post. I tried running as admin. Made no difference. Same problem. Ran autoplay as admin, ran the setup program directly as admin. Didn't make a difference.

    Hello. This is really frustrating. I have C&C3 game on disc and I want to install it (the game was cheap and I've never played it on pc, only xbox). But whenever i try and install it it crashes out at the point of trying to install DX (which I have version 11) with an Error 1935 message "an error occurred during the installation of assembly component". Does anyone know a solution to this, or is my disc just a coaster? Thanks
